A registered charity on Mersea Island giving support to residents by loaning out mobility equipment and organising lunch clubs for the vulnerable.

​As a maturing group of the WI on Mersea Island we would like to encourage the next generation of women to join us. 

A group for people who love gardening! You don’t need to be a horticultural expert with a vast knowledge of Latin names (although experts are welcome) 

Mersea Island Lions Club The Lions Club of Mersea Island was chartered in 1978; its members wishing to help the less fortunate on Mersea Island.

​Join us at MERSEA ISLAND ROYAL BRITISH LEGION CLUB, camaraderie and community spirit thrive. A  place for social events, and friendship.

The Society was formed to preserve, safeguard and promote the characteristics of Mersea Island for the benefit of all, providing funding as well. 

Members-only film society screening monthly selection of classic and contemporary films with big screen cinema-style projection facilities. 

The Tea Dance society meet in The Samphire Hall on a Sunday afternoon approximately once a month. The dance is from 2pm- 4.30pm.

The Mersea Island Folk & Acoustic Club meets on the first Monday of every month from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM at the  MICA on the High Street.

The Rotary Club of Mersea Island are a group of like-minded individuals raising money and awareness for local and international causes.
