The Dog and Pheasant East Mersea

A classic country Pub on the east side of Mersea Island in Colchester Essex, serving traditional pub food. Our friendly staff and family atmosphere awaits you along with our great tasting home cooked traditional food. Seating inside in restaurant area and ample seating in the pub garden. Dog Friendly inside the the Bessies Bar and the garden on a lead and there is also disabled access.
The Wheatsheaf At Waldegraves

As part of the Waldegraves Holiday Park - The Wheatsheaf at Waldegraves come alive with a dazzling line up of party dances, game shows, bingo, singing and dancing. There's something for all ages that will have you clapping the night away. Dogs outside only.


The Fox Inn
106 East Road, Mersea, CO5 8SA
A family run Free House which is traditional and has a welcoming homely atmosphere. Serving a wide range of ales, wines and spirits.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can eat either inside the pub or in the lovely garden which has play facilities for children. You can also book a table in the Vixen Restaurant. Dog Friendly in the pub area and outside. No dogs allowed in restaurant.
White Hart Inn Mersea

Enjoy a casual pint, easy lunch or special celebratory dinner with delicious, great value food in unique, tasteful and contemporary surroundings.
There are six individually designed bedrooms some with sea views.
As well as the bar and restuarant area there is also an outside terrace.
The menu will change throughout the year and will feature casual bar food along with restaurant dishes using the best local ingredients which are in abundance, as well as roasts on Sunday and options for kids. The bar serves real ale, craft lagers, stout and cider, plenty of non-alcoholic delights and also an extensive wine list.


Victory at Mersea

The Victory stands in a prominent position on the waterfront on West Mersea, overlooking the Blackwater estuary and the North Sea. The award winning Victory pub and restaurant offers fine casual dining and delicious traditional pub food with a modern touch. Ample seating both inside the pub and in the pub garden with a children's play area. Dog Friendly inside and outside.
The Coast Inn

You will discover The Coast Inn sitting beside the Blackwater estuary on the west of the island. Enjoy the local seafood; mussels being a real favourite! and the kitchen at The Coast Inn uses the finest local produce in all it's home cooked dishes.
